I read the synopsis. It sounded intriguing. I was not disappointed!
I thought it was such an excellent film, and just want to thank you.
I loved the way you shot the film. Nando Del Castillo really made the character come to life. I could not wait to see what happened next.
I can't wait to see it again, when it comes out.
Thank you for making such a unique and intriguing film.
Like any really good film, you want to see it over and over again.
Sincerely,
Karen Delvin-Gillespie
I absolutely loved your film. Very ambitious!
I was surprised that such a "difficult" film with an uncanny, otherworldly, "platonic" theme could be so riveting.
At some point it reminded me of Andrei Zoulafski's "L' important c’est d' aimer".
Again, thank you Minos and I look forward to watching more
films of yours in the future.
Warmest regards,
Alkis Delantonis
It's quite an achievement - I really enjoyed it. I thought [Nando] was fantastic and if he doesn't have casting agents lining up at his door, then there is something wrong!

"Expressionistic and eerie! Referencing 'Blow Up' and 'After Hours,' it's a late night descent into post-industrial hell."
"Mystical, off-the-wall and trippy!."

"(A film of) haunting figments. Director Minos Papas channels both David Lynch and Dante's Inferno."

"Intermittently beautiful! Inspired by Dante's Inferno and Greek mythology, SHUTTERBUG invites us on a photographic odyssey through nighttime Manhattan."

"Dark and Dreamlike!" -- FILM MONTHLY
"A lovely arthouse film in the grand old tradition. CLASSY!"
[Shutterbug] “does not look or sound like a typical Indie film. The film looks like it was shot with a much larger budget... [The filmmakers captured] obscurity, intrigue and an underbelly world with the dark, and constructed a dreamlike sense of hope with lights and colors.”
Sanela Djokovic, Film Monthly.

“Papas creates a haunted netherworld of lost souls... thoroughly disorienting and at times harrowing, quite impressively lit, shot and cut by Papas and his crew.”
